In 1972, the Library became a branch of the Winnipeg Public Library system when the twelve municipalities that now form the City of Winnipeg merged. Boniface was still a separate municipality. Extensive French resources include books and magazines for all ages, as well as a genealogy research collection. Boniface Library has collections in both French and English.
